Alliance Training Center‘s Nick Piedmont (6-3) talks about his upcoming featherweight bout with Sevak Magakian (12-3) at “BAMMA USA: Badbeat 7” set for October 12 at Commerce Casino in Commerce, Calif. Piedmont feels that Magakian and others may be sleeping on him and possibly underestimating what he brings to the table.
Piedmont also gives his philosophy on winning versus entertaining the crowd, he reveals what he would likely be doing if he was not a mixed martial artist, who he trained with for this fight and the difference moving to San Diego and training at Alliance Training Center has made in his game.
Headlining “BAMMA USA: Badbeat 7″ will be a featherweight match-up between undefeated “The Real Deal” Chris Beal (6-0) and veteran Shad Smith (12-15-1). Originally, Virgil Zwicker was scheduled to face Mike Cook in the main event, but the bout was scrapped after both fighters incurred injuries.
